WHY IT STANDS OUT

Weight without choosing
the warmest fabric.

01

Cooling fabric

COOLMAX® fibers are engineered to move moisture toward the fabric surface, where it can spread and evaporate more quickly.

02

Weighted comfort

Quilted sections help distribute the blanket's weight across the sleeping surface instead of concentrating it in one area.

03

Built for warm sleepers

A moisture-managing alternative for people who like a weighted blanket but want to avoid plush, heat-retaining fabrics.

DESIGNED FOR HOT SLEEPERS

Weighted comfort,
with a cooler approach.

Weighted blankets can feel very different depending on their outer fabric. Mosaic positions Coolmax as its option for warmer sleepers, while plush Minky is designed around softness and warmth.

This is still a weighted layer—not an active cooling system. Its advantage is moisture management and breathability rather than making the bed feel cold.

HOW COOLMAX® WORKS

Move moisture.
Help it dry.

COOLMAX® is a fiber technology, not a temporary surface coating. Channels in the engineered fibers move moisture away from the body and spread it across a larger surface area, supporting faster evaporation.

EVENLY DISTRIBUTED COMFORT

Quilted to keep
the weight in place.

The blanket is divided into stitched sections so its weighted fill stays distributed across the surface. That construction is the important point—not a medical promise.

Mosaic's current and archived descriptions conflict about the exact fill material. Calnors recommends confirming the current composition on the official product page before purchasing.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT WEIGHT

Start with the sleeper,
not only the bed.

Mosaic currently suggests roughly 10% of body weight as a starting point. Comfort and mobility matter, so treat this as guidance rather than a rule.

TWIN15 lbUp to approximately 150 lb body weight
FULL / QUEEN20 lbApproximately 150–200 lb body weight
KING / CAL-KING25 lbApproximately 200–260+ lb body weight

Sizes, weights and guidance reflect the current official listing and may change. Confirm available variants before ordering.

MADE FOR EVERYDAY USE

Care that respects
the extra weight.

Follow the sewn-in care label for the exact variant. Mosaic's general guidance recommends cold water and a gentle cycle, avoiding high heat.

  • Use a commercial washer for blankets over 12 lb
  • Wash cold on a gentle cycle
  • Air dry or use low heat when permitted
  • Avoid fabric softener to protect wicking performance

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

Useful context
before deciding.

The strongest product page is clear about tradeoffs as well as benefits.

01

Cooling does not mean cold

The fabric is designed to manage moisture and heat more effectively; it does not refrigerate the bed.

02

Weight selection matters

A blanket that is too heavy may feel restrictive or be difficult to move, fold and wash.

03

Heavy blankets need special care

Options above 12 lb may exceed a household washer's safe capacity and require a commercial machine.

04

It is not a medical device

Mosaic describes weighted blankets as comfort products. Health-related decisions should be discussed with a qualified professional.
