Breathable cotton
A classic 100% cotton surface for people who prefer a familiar feel over a plush Minky finish.
FEATURED DISCOVERY
Solid Cotton
Weighted Blanket
Classic weighted comfort with a breathable cotton feel.
- 100% cotton
- Made in the USA
- Multiple sizes and weights
WHY IT STANDS OUT
A familiar fabric,
made intentionally heavier.
Distributed weight
Stitched square pockets help keep the weighted fill spread across the blanket instead of collecting in one area.
Plenty of choice
Six colors, sizes from Kids to King and weights from 5 to 20 lb create a broad range of combinations.
BREATHABLE BY NATURE
The classic choice
for everyday comfort.
Cotton offers a more familiar, less plush surface than Minky. It can be a practical middle ground for people who want weighted comfort without choosing the warmest-feeling fabric.
If staying cooler is the main priority, the Coolmax Cooling Weighted Blanket is designed specifically around moisture management.
EVENLY DISTRIBUTED WEIGHT
Small pockets.
More consistent pressure.
The blanket is divided into reinforced square pockets. Mosaic describes this model as filled with BPA-free, hypoallergenic polystyrene pellets distributed through those sections.
This page follows the product-specific description. Generic imagery or descriptions elsewhere on the retailer’s site may reference a different fill.
FIND YOUR SIZE AND WEIGHT
Start with the sleeper,
then choose the dimensions.
Mosaic suggests roughly 10% of body weight as a starting point. Comfort, mobility and safe handling matter, so treat it as general guidance rather than a medical recommendation.

MADE FOR EVERYDAY USE
Washable, with care
for the extra weight.
Mosaic lists this blanket as machine washable. Follow the sewn-in care label for your exact size and weight.
- Use cold water and a gentle cycle
- Lay flat to dry and avoid high heat
- Use a commercial washer for blankets over 12 lb
- Check the machine’s capacity before washing
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
Useful context
before deciding.
Comfort depends as much on choosing the right variant as on the blanket itself.
It is not specifically cooling
Cotton is breathable, but the Coolmax model is the option designed around moisture management for warm sleepers.
Weight selection matters
A blanket that is too heavy may feel restrictive or be difficult to move, fold and wash.
Heavy blankets need special care
Options above 12 lb may exceed a household washer’s capacity and require a commercial machine.
It is not a medical device
This is a comfort product. Health-related decisions should be discussed with a qualified professional.
